Regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches of Reunion Island, the beach Grand' Anse extends below the Palm Hotel & Spa**** and offers, with its white coral sand, the coconut trees and the blue water, a picturesque landscape.
Known for its coral reef, it becomes a perfect place to organize a large picnic at the weekend, while enjoying the sublime setting. The Park of Grand' Anse is especially popular for its large landscaped areas with barbecue, running water and its small restaurants.
Swimming keeps dangerous, but a rock pool, built at the end of the beach, gives you the possibility to swim.
At the seaside, a bend will allow you to contemplate the lime kiln of Grand´Anse. Once used to enrich the soil in agriculture, to seal buildings, or to settle cane juice, lime was made from the carbonization of the coral, here.
