The Reunion Island offers a intresting landscape, that offers you many possibilities and lets you organize the stay after your preferences...

Just a little selection:

• Hiking: paradise for lovers of wide open spaces and nature. The island is full of marked paths more or less difficult, offering hikes of 30 minutes up to several hours of walking and often with the possibility to sleep in a Bed&Breakfast when you like to hike for a couple of days.

• The Cirques: three Cirques of the Island, of which two are accessible by car (Salazie in the East and Cilaos in the South). The third Cirque, Mafate, is only accessible by foot or by helicopter. It takes at least 4 hours of walking...

• The volcano: The Piton de la Fournaise is one of the most active in the world. Although it is not dangerous, it often erupts. On the road of St. Philip and St. Rose, you can see many recent coulees of lava. You can also get to the top of these beside the road. The view is breathtaking...

• Beaches: located in the west and south, the beaches of the island are always well attended, especially at the weekend, because Reunionese families love to picnic. Below the PALM Hotel & Spa***** is the beach of Grand´Anse, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful of the islands.

Feel free to ask our concierge service of the hotel for suggestions for your excursions with departure from the PALM...
